Neth Pheaktra: The Effective Policies Put Forward by the CPP Have Made Cambodia Peaceful

PHNOM PENH: The Deputy Chairman of the Party Working Group in Bokor City, Kampot Province, Neth Pheaktra, has stated that the effective policies set by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), under the wise leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen, has allowed Cambodia to maintain peace, political stability and development in all areas.

Neth Pheaktra made this statement during a meeting to disseminate the decision on the joint plan for the 7th National Assembly Election 2023 on Sunday, 19 February, with members of the party working group in Prek Tnaot district, Bokor City, present.

"The successful implementation of the vaccination policy has built a strong welfare program for the people against the Covid-19 pandemic, and the reopening of the country has revived Cambodia's national economy after the Covid-19 crisis began," he said.

He added that many achievements have been made by the Royal Government, led by the CPP, in response to the trust the people have for the party, especially as they always vote for the CPP to lead the country every time.

"The CPP is formed by the people, of the people and for the people," he said.

He encouraged party officials and the public to continue protecting the country's precious achievements, as a result of peace. At the same time, he urged all stakeholders to join in protecting and maintaining peace and political stability in Cambodia, along with the leaders of the CPP.

"The CPP has set a strategic goal of safeguarding peace and political stability, security, social order, preventing any attempt made by the opposition... to ensure the well-being of the people and a good election environment," he added.

"Without peace, we cannot develop the nation, without investment and without progress," he said.
